Control Water Quality

Use The Right Filters and Equipment for Your Water Goals

We understand the struggle of water quality in the Tiffin, Ohio area. Whether you are on a well or city water, the water quality tends to be poor. If you notice:

  • Faucets corrode quickly

  • Red and black water stains

  • Clothes and hair feel heavy or dried out after being washed

Chances are, you have hard water. Sometimes the culprit is iron, sometimes sulfur, and sometimes it's bacteria that feeds on the minerals themselves. City water can smell and taste like the chemicals used to purify the water, leaving homeowners concerned.

We love helping homeowners address their water concerns and offer personalized solutions for their home and water quality goals. We offer several kinds of equipment, including:

  • Water Softeners

  • Iron Filters

  • Carbon Filters

  • Reverse Osmosis Systems

  • Whole Home Filters

To determine the best course of action, we look at what's actually in your water by conducting a few water tests that tell us the pH level, iron level, sulfur level, and Total Dissolved Solids, or "TDS". Our technicians use the results to provide you with informed suggestions.

Water Softener Services

Removing Hardness From Your Water (TDS)

Water hardness is a measure of dissolved minerals in your water. It leaves residue on appliances, faucets, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and even clothes. Our recommendations for removing the dissolved minerals are based on water tests, and usually start with a water softener system designed for your level of hardness.

What is a Water Softener?

Water softeners use resin beads to remove mineral particles from the water (molecular-level science). Salt is used to refresh the resin beads during a regeneration process, taking the mineral and flushing it out of the softener. The beads go through these "collect & rinse" cycles, allowing them to continue working for years.

Twin Water Softening Systems

Twin water softeners are a dual system that allows for constant soft water even if the demand is high. The two resin beds work together, alternating use so one can produce softened water while the other regenerates.
