Drain Line Inspections
The Best Way To Prevent & Manage Drain Emergencies
Fortunately, Greene's Plumbing has a solution for homeowners who worry about their drain line's condition. To prevent surprises, our drain experts can use the camera to get eyes on the condition of the line. Issues with roots in the drain line can be managed and monitored, clearing the line annually to prevent excessive buildup. Corrosion and cracks can be caught early and the damage progression can be slowed to increase the life of the drain. Inspections are the easiest way to monitor and manage drain line issues.

Kitchen Drain Services
Kitchen Sinks, Garbage Disposals, and Dishwashers
Greene's drain cleaning services offer an easy solution for slow kitchen drains, grease clogs, food clogs, corroded or broken garbage disposals, and even clogged dishwasher drains.
For safety reasons, we do not recommend using liquid drain cleaners (read more: Liquid Drain Cleaners: The Good, Bad, & Ugly). These chemicals can not only eat away at your pipes, they can also cause minor chemical burns when technicians are working on the drains. Let us know if you've used liquid drain cleaners- no shame, it's for safety.

Backflow Preventer Testing in Seneca County, Hancock County, and Sandusky County.
Greene's is certified to perform backflow preventer testing as required by the state for commercial properties. This certification allows us to test, repair, and service backflow preventers for both commercial and residential properties. For backflow preventer inspections, we must meet the registration requirements for your area. Most places do not require anything other than the license.

What is a Backflow Preventer?
-
Prevents water that enters a plumbing system from flowing back out through the entrance point, using a valve that only opens one way. This keeps the flow of any liquid moving from the supply line to the main sewer line.

-
Protects public water systems from being contaminated, since any water that enters a commercial property cannot flow back out into the clean water supply for the city.

-
Common Contaminants: bacteria, mineral build up, sediment, etc.

-
E-Coli is a prominent example of why backflow preventers are important for public safety. When found in the water supply, it has typically come from a place without a backflow preventer.
