What Is A Dual Fuel HVAC System?
Dual Fuel Systems use an electric Heat Pump to heat and cool the home. The Heat Pump will be the sole source of air conditioning for your home. A gas-powered furnace is used as a back up heat source, which only kicks on during a power-outage or if the outside temperature is so cold the Heat Pump cannot keep up. You will only ever be using one heat source at a time, with the Heat Pump as your primary unit, and the Furnace as your secondary.
Why Go Dual Fuel?
The main reason for going dual fuel is high efficiency. This option will save you money in the long run because the electric Heat Pump is extremely efficient. The Furnace only kicks on when it is needed, so Dual Fuel Systems also cut down on gas usage. With Dual Fuel, you will experience the savings of an efficient electric system, with the reliability of gas-powered heat.
Residential HVAC Maintenance Plans
Service Agreements are a 1-year, annually renewable agreement between Greene's and their customers. They have been designed to give our loyal and returning customers added benefits, while providing regular and convenient home maintenance. Signing up for this program will automatically add you to our servicing lists in the fall and spring so we can get you scheduled in a timely manner.

Boiler Services
Our technicians receive boiler training from Lochinvar before we send them to work on any boiler. Our crew will replace, install, repair, and perform maintenance on residential and small commertial boiler systems.
Fuel Oil Services
Our technicians receive fuel oil training before we send them to work on any fuel oil furnace system. These systems are not as common in Northwest Ohio as they are in other areas. Greene's provides removal, repair, and maintenance services for Fuel oil systems, but installation services are not always gaurunteed.
Geothermal Heat Pump Services
Greene's specializes in geothermal heat. Nate Greene spent many years travelling the country for geothermal training and seminars. Our technicians receive training to ensure they are prepared to troubleshoot, repair, provide maintenance for, and install geothermal heat pumps.
