Water Heaters are the most common unit used to produce hot water for residential homes. Power Direct Vent water heaters, often abbreviated to "Power Vent" or "PDV", are gas water heaters with an electric fan to push exhaust out of your home. The need for these is dependent on your home and the location of the water heater itself. If the vent needs to cover a longer distance, or has to turn several times to get to the outside of the home, you may need a Power Vent water heater to help the exhaust reach the external atmosphere. Click here for an article that discusses these differences further.

Tankless Water Heaters are the "latest and greatest" advancement in hot water technology. They offer hot water on demand, are much more energy efficient, and take up less space. These units are not recommended for everyone due to the maintenance requirements. In places with hard water, these units will not last long with out regular cleaning, and may need a high-quality softener to reduce hardness levels before water enters the unit.

Expansion tanks are used on the supply line side of a water heater. When water is heated, it expands, and can flow backwards into the supply line as a result. Expansion tanks prevent the water flowing backwards from getting back into the main water supply and contaminating it. These are required by state code if the property is connected to city water.

Delta and Moen are our favorite brands. These generally come with good warranties, all the parts and pieces needed, and we find that they take less time to install due to the quality of parts they come with. We do have some standard models that we like, so if you need some inspiration or do not want to purchase the faucet yourself, we would be happy to accommodate to these requests.

Water Softeners

Water softeners are the go-to solution for treating iron-heavy or sulfur-heavy water, usually from wells. Getting the correct unit for your needs will require testing your water and measuring the grains of hardness present. We will test your water and help you find the right unit for your situation.

Water Filters

Water filters are an excellent and inexpensive way to have safe, healthy drinking water in your home. We recommend carbon filters (also known as Charcoal Filters) because they filter out all the harsh chemicals and bacteria in city and well water without stripping it of natural and healthy minerals, like iron and zinc.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Reverse Osmosis systems are a popular solution to stripping city and well water of any chemicals or harmful substances, leaving you with purified water. We can help you put these systems in for your whole home or locally, giving you the option of purified drinking water for your bathrooms and kitchen, or just a couple sinks.

Well Pumps

Well Pumps, whether a Jet Pump or a Submersible Pump, are a key part of the well system. They push or pull the water out of the ground and into the home. If a well pump goes out, it could leave you and your family without water until it gets fixed or replaced. We offer reliable brands, because we know how important these pumps are to your way of life.

Sump Pumps & Backups

Most Ohio homes have a sump pump, which is meant to keep the basement from flooding. In homes that are at a higher risk of flooding, battery back-up sump pumps are a great added layer of security. If your pump fails or cannot keep up, the back-up system is designed to help prevent floods in these more extreme situations.

Alarms & Accessories

Some other useful tools can be added to your pump system, like alarms and check valves. In some cases, these accessories are required, like check valves. In others, they are completely optional, like alarms. We  offer basic puck alarms, or alarms that will alert your phone when there's a problem. Whichever you feel will serve you best, we are here to provide you excellent solutions!
